Doesnt work for me. As soon as clones released and shes immobilised after damage she takes off to the sky so clones cant reach her and another volley of lightning

Same thing was happening to me. Use the wind tamer vessel right when she’s about to go airborne and it staggers her!

I have been getting her down to 1 or 2 hits and then just getting destroyed by AOE attacks at the very end. This guide is brilliant. Completely negates that last phase where she just throws lighting at you the entire phase.

UPDATE: beat her with this tactic! Your guide was the best I found. The one thing I did differently was after pluck of many. She kept flying in the air away from my clones. I used the wind tamer to stun her. After that the clones finished her off.

Kang-Jin Star is one of the few bosses, if not the only boss, that I've beaten on my first try. Shout out to the gamers who breakdown boss fights to a science. I'm just throwing crap on the wall and seeing what sticks lol. I'd save myself more time if I emulated some of these strategies.

I almost had her on the first try then tried 10 times and failed. Your tips helped. I swear it seems these games give you a break on the first try then start adapting to you if you fail. It was hilarious seeing the amount of damage the charged heavy strike did. The reason this boss annoyed me is it feels like a cheap fight because she is out of your range so often, Felt great to steam roll her. Cheers!

This works but the new patch has spikes that come out of the ground so you just can't stand and take lighting damage. Over all still works got it on my 3rd try and I had to use the Ch 2 item to buy me more time for the clones...Thanks man.

After she goes down from dragon form like in the video, make sure you don’t hit her. Not even with the transformation. So that she won’t move. Use pluck of many first, hit her, then immobilise. This will give time for duplicates to get near her and stagger her back to back
