It took me over 200 hours of gameplay to be able to beat rocket lance. Whenever I say rocket lance is unfair, someone else says “Rocket lance is easy to beat when in platinum just git good” Platinum only makes up 10% of players. I think they should nerf it for the sake of the 90%

Normally, I would share a tip as well, but I'm not exactly an expert on this matchup... One thing that has worked for me on blasters, though, is to predict a sair/slight approach with jump-gc dlight. If they attack, they slide under you and get hit by dlight-sair. If they delay the approach a little, the last blast of the dlight will outrange anything on lance. Other than that... I got nothing.

He has been playing for years and mastered lance, like spacing, effective techs, punishes etc. In gold/plat, lance is top tier bcause the majority of the player there are dumbass, all they can do is complain. But in high diamond, i've experienced that lance is one of the hardest weapon to play with there. schyte orb spear become alot easier than lance. You'll experience it soon.

Lance sucks at recovering from below the stage. If you charge recovery, you're almost always gonna get a weapon throw in your face. Also, lance has no grounded move that hits upwards. The only option to hit below-stage opponent without throwing you lance away is ground pound, or you take a risk and past your opponent to setup a dair, if you miss that, you're now below the opponent, which is very much not ideal for lance. Yeah, lance sucks at dealing with anything if you're above a lance player or below. Good for throwing, though, big weapon.

Beating lance was easy since i mained scarlet to plat, but when i switched to petra, the tiny hitboxes makes me the match up, not actually impossible but, pretty boring to play against, so this vid helped me a lot much, and playing weapons like blasters or scythe, or just nix, now the match up becomes pretty easy lol
