Thank you so much for making this kind of content. I got Hollow Knight in may 2022, got to the the basic HK ending with 87% completion and lost my mind to NKG. After like 100 deaths to him I gave up about the game. Came back a few days ago, started a new game (I was too afraid of NKG so I wanted to re-discover the game first). I then saw you were making boss blitz and was looking for the NKG one, and here it is ! I hope that, thanks to you, I will be able to beat him soon ! :)

Starting a new playthrough is one of the best things you can do to improve, I think. Each time I’ve done it I’ve noticed a huge improvement when I get to the tougher bosses, so I think you should be in good shape!

When I am doing the non-radiant fight against NKG I like using shape of unn with quick focus when he performs the flame attack. If you have enough soul for 2 heals you can easily recover health. It's a fight of fast thinking and precision so that can be very helpful. It was tough to do it no-hit but for those still struggling I believe in you! ❤️ On the side note, I'm looking forward to your radiant abs rad guide. I already have a strategy that I don't want to change but hearing someone else's tips for certain attacks will be nice 😁 ( I mostly have issues with the second phase with lost of variables changing the way you dodge and the climbing phase followed up by the last phase which are both still problematic )

If he can deal two masks of damage just because I jumped into him during the inferno attack so I can hit him then he must be absolutely jacked.

Your videos are the best. I already knew how to beat Grimm, but I wanted to beat him on radiant and wanted to know the guaranteed way to dodge his slash attack at 01:54 (the fireballs would always be the ones to ruin my attempts). Turns out the way to dodge them was so easy! Ive beaten radiant grimm after a couple of tries thanks to your vid :)

Whenever I get hit the screen gets darker, which makes it almost impossible for me to see NKG's next attack. That is what makes me die.

This is one of the fights that takes a while to learn but when you beat it once you have almost no trouble beating the boss again, I'm saying from experience I beat it on radiant after a week of beating him every day and still continue my practice because of how amazing the boss is, beating this boss improves everything in a player in my opinion, an absolute must do boss fight in my opinion.

Also shape of unn helps you heal and duck under his bats if you have trouble with the bats

i'm terrible at this game but i genuinely did not find this boss that insanely hard. i beat him around an hour after my first attempt and i can hardly even do pantheon of the artist

Well i am fairly sure you can, but every attack in the nkg fight deals two masks of damage so in my opinion its too risky

Yup, impossible, you gotta reach the first puffer fish fase without taking damage
