So technically, even if Adam did see the captor’s hand and saw the mark, the group couldn’t have made that leap that the captor was Dominic. Anyone who has ever hoped and tried to use resources like that or have ever been in “the system” in any way. In any country. No matter how long. Or why or for any reason at whatever age. They will know. Look I’m the last person to be insulted and I’m not! But I am to use a a term we all get (cringe)Triggered. Mental health is still treated like a joke all over the world. Even in the “best countries that give a shit about it. People working for all types of places don’t give a shit. They just want work and for their shift to be over-And that’s fair enough! But if you have to talk to a huge number of people every day or Night about their shit- some begging for any kind of help. And you can’t do anything except listen unless you have a phone call cutoff timer. This weighs on you. Hearing people again and again pleading begging screaming crying etc as a job and then not being able to do anything. Work for a place like that and within a week you either quit or just become so desensitized to everything. And you’d have to otherwise you’ll be the one cutting your own *fists* The whole system is so ducked. It’s common practice to employ drug dealers and users in rehab centers, care facilities employ people who treat you like an object- don’t get me started on mental care facilities/and elder care. There is no regulation. And no one can say anything because they are either labeled as crazy or stupid- some way incapable of telling the truth. If you want to watch some really scary ducked up stuff. Then look into all of this and so much more. I’m sorry for the incoherent writing. I’m on a phone. It upset me a lot. Was not expecting that. But it did.

It’s always ok to seek help any way you can! Don’t be discouraged! There are good people out there, it might be 1/100 but you never forget the impact that 1 can have. Also always remember there has to be a balance for them between professional and personal. As an example no matter how much anyone wants to hug you and just sit with you, they have to take care of themselves too. Sometimes it’s not that they don’t care, but they have to stop themselves to not care too much. Clear difference.
