Small correction, but Izel's "dad" isn't really his dad (or the twins'). He was just a warrior that briefly took in a young Izel and Nelli before ditching them. What happened to Izel's actual parents was actually going to be a big plot point in season 2.

I don't know anything about this show, and I'm only 49 seconds in, but something already looks off here. Was this an American production? Because the artstyle looks like that generic knock-off anime that you get from stuff like Avatar. It's all watered down and bereft of personality, and looks like it was animated by overworked and underpaid Koreans.
