omg i was waiting for this for a long time but you had to put the vastly inferior American dub! Aooi Yuki has an amazing range of voice and she even sings the songs of some openings and endings! meanwhile english kumoko sounds like UwU sound effect...it is cute if you listen to it for a bit but then feels entitled and cringy the more you listen to it

@@hannahmetzger4880 you say "Not everyone likes having to learn a new language just to watch a fictional foreign TV show." yet you are here already watching a foreign language shows, funny part is that you learn by doing, the more you expose yourself to the language, the more you passively learn. your dedication to refuse learning is amazing! and you don't need reading comprehension to have the subs. you just watch with subs, learn a bit of Japanese by literally just doing that watching the damn show in its intended language as there are language barriers dubs never cross as well as EXTREMELY CRINGY AND PATHETIC attempts at adapting something unadaptable to the English or thinking their are unique and different by changing something its good all because of racism or white washing examples? 4kids censorship of the stupidest of things like rice balls and turning them into burgers, or changing the digimon openings from something related to hope and love to a uniquely composed rock style crap which is the cringiest crap one could ever hear. just watching it gives you the tools you need. in less than year you don't even need to look at the subtitles, you don't even notice them because your brain is already set to ignore them and gather both context, the language learned and a bit of peripherical vision to convert all of those signals into a message easy to understand. but yeah you don't need that cause learning is stupid right? why would anyone dare to suggest to you that learning should be something good? cause english is the superior language right? cause if you ain't white you ain't right eh?
