A useful tip to make the second phase quicker: During the antigrav attack, if you make it to the left side you can spin into his head to deal additional damage.

Another tip, during the anti gravity phase, u can hide under a platform to avoid the electric orbs without trying to dodge any of them, the orbs don't go thru the platforms

Me and my little brother were doing so well in the first phase, then on the second phase where he destroys the platform behind you it put us in character animation, and we couldn’t move, and we just died instantly. I don’t usually play sonic games cause I’m terrible at them, but I was really enjoying this one until this boss, I don’t mind when games are challenging but this was such a difficulty spike that felt so unfair

You definitely don't suck at sonic if you got that far. Some of the previous bosses are rock hard too. But this boss takes the biscuit. I am a gaming veteran and have completed the hardest games but there is no need in this difficulty. It ruined the game for me.

for the laser counting rythm, try to count it fast, when you hear/count 4 jump

I just beat the boss and found the best strat to beat it. In Phase one keep moving either left or right. In phase two, it only takes 6 hits to defeat the boss so just get three hits in then use the avatar power. Hope this helps anybody
