The alarm can also. Catch the attention of anyone nearby. But to me, she did it wrong regardless. If you’re going to try to use the car alarm to get help. You have to have better timing. On the topic of snipers, I suggest White Death. A Finnish sniper during WWII who killed over 500 invading Russians. (Slight cw: he was disfigured during the conflict so might make you squeamish) He was so efficient, they committed entire artillery strikes to try and stop him. All of this in freezing temperatures in the snow and without a lens. The man did all this with just iron sights. History lesson aside, dumb movie, but entertaining video like always. I like how you analyze and break down these things in such detail, all while having an attitude. Gives the video a lot of personality.

This movie overemphasized cleaning the wound. In EMT class we always use sterile bandages and wear gloves, but you're going to die from blood loss way before sepsis can take you. Nothing is really sterile in an emergency.
@nickamalfitano3613 Жыл бұрын
Wouldn't the temporary wound cavity from even a grazing shot by .308 or 30-06 be massive? Ballistic gel expands wildly when fast rifle rounds go thru. So, a 3,000 or so ft/sec projectile, even grazing her skinny arm would render it completely useless, right?
@iamjoeysteel Жыл бұрын
@@nickamalfitano3613 it's all hyper dependent. The temporary and over elastic wounds on gel vs the human body can vary greatly. A .308 has the velocity at thay range to have the elastic of the skin fail. Gel blocks more a point of reference for your torso. Some parts of your body can survive the expansion while others fail. I've seen a .308 enter the left and come out the right of the abdomen and the intestines ballooner out bother side from the swelling. One example how 'it just depends', a friend of mine was prone and had an AK 7.62 x 39 go through the top of his thigh and out just at the top of the knee, leaving a tunnel in his leg and chipped the top of his knee. Had it been a couple millimeter more inward, it would have blown his knee off and probably cut the femoral artery, killing him in minutes or permanently disabled.

An example could be a series that's not especially political in it's story or theming randomly going out of it's way to take a jab at Trump, for the sole sake of the writer/director/actors 'showing allegiance' to people who also dislike him. Military nicknames don't work like in the movies. They are often a reference to a joke or something eg tractor because the dudes is a hillbilly or sparkie because he's prone to getting electrocuted. So if someone is called "badass" he's probably an embarassing try hard, ghost would be someone who's loud and clumsy and stands out and reaper would be someone who's more likely to kill and ally or himself with his poor weapon handling skills than to kill the enemy. Punisher would be someone who makes bad jokes. It's not like the movies where people think soldiers go by thinks like L337noscoperxx

its kinda goofy how directors and to some extent your average person thinks that like a your average 5'5" 140 lb woman can beat the average 5'10" 200 pound man in any sort of physical altercation
@eugeneturner7520 Жыл бұрын
A couple of problems with that logic: 1. That's a difference of only 60 pounds, yet if it was a shorter man of similar weight taking on a larger man 60 pounds his greater in weight, you'd call that a fair fight. 2. Why is it always 120 to 140 pounds with you people when you look at a woman? We don't know how much she weighs, and she could easily have had more pounds on her than that, while still looking rather boxum. Most women - in America at least - weigh 150+ considering most of them aren't exactly models. 3. We never actually get a good look at the killer next to her - but he looks like a scruny fellow, himself, who seemed to be more or less the same height as her, and even if he was taller - it would have been by how much? 3 or 2 inches maybe at the most? He's clearly not a giant of a man like some kind of basketball player, so I'm not really sure why you're treating it like he is, especially when she's not exactly short, herself. 4. She never tried to fight this man hand-to-hand; she stabbed him *TWICE.* Like, literally, she seriously shanked him in the kidney area and in the shoulder. That's more than enough to shut someone's shit down right there in most cases - just ask any prostitute who's ever been arrested for stabbing a violent John to death. That said, when she wasn't stabbing him - she bashed his brain with a fire extinguisher. She didn't have to be bigger or stronger when she had sharp stabbing instruments and blunt force objects laying around to give her strikes more lethality. Women's prisons are full of man-killers, and female serial killers are a thing. One of the most brutal series of murders in American history - committed with an axe - were carried out by a black woman who didn't like mixed race families in the early 1900s, and the police let her get away with it because they didn't suspect her because she was a woman, and they didn't believe a woman could have committed these atrocious crimes. By the time they realized she was behind it, she'd long since skipped town. Also, according to the International Center for the Study of Terrorism, female terrorists are more successful compared to male ones because of several factors, most notably because women are still not expected to be involved in violence. The common social assumption that women are inherently weaker, gentler, and more peaceful than men discounts their ability to engage in such lethal activity. That assumption allows female terrorists to be overlooked by counterterrorism efforts and escape thorough security inspections in many conflict zones, despite recent attempts to correct this security lapse. Humans are violent; it doesn't matter what gender - we're all killers at our worst.
