You sacrifice this for safety, or rather if you were really smart you wouldnt go inside a house you never knew the layout etc. flush it out with some garlic fume grenades or w.e. that your organization figured out works for the vamps and kill them in sunshine or if they're severely weakened go in with a group of trained fighters and kill them. I know this is movie dumb logic, but if you actually were doing this professionally, not even mentionin organization doing this type of work, you would need some serious and harsh training because otherwise someone getting turned into vamp and being controlled to extract info could be a fatal situation.

@@louis8487 good point, I just wanted more tension and consequences for him lone wolfing it, him having snoop or other hunters claiming his kills but him only getting half puts financial pressure on him and his family causing the break up then later as we see he is desperate and starts selling fangs to the pawns broker only to have the vampire queen find the broker there for him and is setting traps and ambushes but because he rejoined the union he had a partner that saved him then later a team up with another vampire team

The hierarchy of the different types of vampires was a way more interesting premise than the actual plot of the movie. I wished they dived more into that. Also during the car chase, I liked how all the henchmen crashed themselves. Jamie didn't do a damn thing. 😂

They probably could’ve gotten UV weapon lights too. Putting a light on their weapons obviously will help them see when they’re moving around in the dark, plus if sunlight burns them, having a UV light on the end of your gun would almost be like a bayonet made of fire.

Honestly I will almost always value creativity over realness when it comes to fight scenes. Like yeah, it can get annoying with a character does everything except shoot, and I get that some people just can’t get past it, but all the weird, contortionist-y fight scenes in this movie were so much more fun and interesting to watch than if they’d just had him shooting them all down

I will say that braces can actually be time sensitive depending on what dental issues are going on with the kid, as when you are younger the parts of your mouth are more flexible and more changes can be done than if you are older. Though looking at the daughter I doubt she has any major dental issues that would require getting braces ASAP. (Example: my mouth ended being too small for all my adult teeth, so I had teeth growing in behind each other. Pursuing orthodontal treatment when I was younger allowed for the roof of my mouth to be expanded to accommodate all my teeth. If I had gotten treatment later this wouldn't be possible and the only option would be to pull out one or more teeth to get everything to fit).

Why do the vampires in this film have serrated teeth. That isn’t a good evolutionary trait for a creature which survives from drinking blood from creatures. Ticks are hooked but that’s because their entire thing is feed off a creature thousands of times larger. So a vampire a creature which feeds off of something of the same size serrations would be a horrible trait. The most likely evolutionary traits would be anesthetic saliva, retractable straight (or slightly curved) teeth, and the teeth would need to be small to leave as little evidence as possible. The teeth shown in the film would be best for creatures that hunt all living things at all time. Like a shark or a gator.
