From 5 to 15, we're teaching our kids job skills. At 16, they're working full-time jobs. By marriage and children at 22, they're homeowners with no mortgage. The girls are birthing nursing and parenting and homeschooling. The boys keep working on earned income until unearned income exceeds living expenses.... Then we teach the grandkids how to do this too. Helping out with housing and groceries along the way...

Panicked and grabbed something in another area, got in just before priced jumped up 4 months later. Don't give up, "a broken clock is correct twice a day"! Today you might have to pool your resources! Find like-minded family/friends to get that first property or business!

These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.

Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.
@lawrenceHart-ys2ct

financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 930k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2018, and I return at least $58k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

@@thebestone5642 It’s about building financial freedom and literacy. Not about becoming a millionaire. That’s what everyone’s problem is. Just because you can’t make a million doesn’t mean you can’t make 100,000. Better than 40-50k a year. And next time, read the description in the video. Plenty of key words of what the discussion is about. Not everyone is preying on our community. That’s that victim mentality that people need to get out of. Take key information from people and apply it to your PLAN, lifestyle, job, and finances then move on. That’s it. If you don’t have a plan, you fail. Plain and simple

Love the breakdown. I've gradually built my finance and made my first $100k through investing, and with what I’ve learned investing, given enough time, solid investments have the potential to double the initial principal amount, but many investors are instead attracted to the lure of high yields in short periods of time despite the possibility of unattractive losses before even getting out. So the onus is on newbies to beware.
