I was behaving like an armoured woman both with men who I liked more than they did as well as with men who loved and adored me more than I them, until I met someone with whom I naturally became a truly feminine woman. I had this very understanding and attitude. However, my husband did not want me to be so needy. He wanted to teach me how to be strong and to be able to survive on my own so that I could change my own oil if I needed to or what it takes to change a tire if I have to. And I’m so glad that he did because I lost him to Covid and now as I’m on my own, I don’t feel so desperate so useless. So I believe that there should be a balance.

I've been in a relationship for 8 months and last week I found myself just blurting out some personal things to him which made me feel very vulnerable and the last time we were together something felt different.. He was more loving and present with me than before. (We haven't gotten to the 'love u' bit yet..) The last couple months too he has been really sweet and helpful in doing things to help me etc and although we haven't verbalised it I sometimes feel love towards him.. I have always made a point in also telling him I appreciate him and thanking him for things.. He is a good person with a kind heart and I have also told him that too. I am unsure about the depth of my feelings as it takes me time to build particular feelings but I definitely think it is possible I may get to the L word stage in the near future if things keep up as they are... 😊❤
