Hi! I’ve been following you for awhile now and am starting to my own MLD and Prenatal massage therapy practice. Does anyone know how to get a hold of someone who works with True Massage and Bodywork? I saw on her website that she is offering an MLD certification for post op surgery and I would like some info about that but there is no way to contact anyone. Feel a little weird sending money over to someone when there’s no way to get of hold of that person.

I'm 56 and was going to post the same question. I've always been interested in massage and its healing properties, reading about massage, receiving massages and giving massages to family members. I ended up in the corporate world (finance) 30 years+ and would like to make the shift for the remainder of my working years. I exercise regularly and am in great physical shape so I'm not concerned about body demand and stamina. What I worry about is whether anyone would even hire me due to age (and I have no interest in starting my own business, at least not right away). I am looking for YT channels and other social media outlets of people who became massage therapists later in life but have not found any yet. Good luck with whatever decision you make!

​@Mightyluna I am 49, no it is not too late and your age does not matter. As long as you are physically fit to being able to give good massages and treatments. People want stress and pain relief, they will not care about your age. I am getting back into it, just started a new class. I am also nervous as I want to open my own office, but in anything there is always risk in any business.
