Hi,welcome. Hmmm. There are very few nurses from the USA who wants to move to Ireland. But to answer your question, adaptation can last from 6 to 12 weeks, I did mine for 6 weeks. And yes you get paid the moment you start adaptation , I think the minimum , mine was 18 eur/ he. Then it will be adjusted once you get your registration pin according to your salary scale☺️

Hello !!!! Cassy , first of all , Congratulations on passing the Nursing Licensure Exam!!! And yes , you can do your nmbi application alone, as I did that myself as well. So , one of the requirements for the nmbi registration is your English exam cert , so I’d say better do the OET first or IELTS, before proceeding with NMBI,❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi Jane, im glad you’re inspired to step out of your comfort zone ! In my opinion I think as long as you have the nmbi and ielts/OET theres always a possibility na mainterview ka ng employers, and once you get the chance to be interviewed , you just have to nail the interview and show the employer that you are willing to learn and adapt to whatever position you’re applying for. Hello, Lecky Geez! Hmm . That’s a good question. I assume na pagdating mo dito malamig kasi pa winter time na. So just make sure you bring a good winter jacket kaht 1 lng muna basta it will give u protection from the rain and cold. ( dont bring a lot kasi pwede mo naman bilhin dito) also, some thermal clothes to warm you up.( if you’re not used sa cold). Scrub suits ( depends if saang area ka) its cheaper to bring a few pairs than to buy it here ( super mahal nila dito) good waking shoes + winter shoes(boots) if you can. A pair each. You can also bring a scarf . Pack light and pack only essentials. But mostly for the weather heheh. The rest kasi like pens and stuff its all easy to buy here. 😉

Its okay kaht maki ilang take ka ng Ielts as long as you dont quit . never quit when it gets hard because it means youre nearly there. Konti nalang. Or maybe you can try taking OET i heard mas applicable sya sa nurses. But whatever you do whichever path you choose to take just remember one thing, nothing is impossible if you work hard for it. Sometime out minds plays tricks on us that we cant do it were not good enough BUT the reality is we are capable of whatever we out our mind and our hearts into symepre ssmahan mo ng prayers.but most impirtantly you have to trust yourself that you CAN do it. believe you can and you will PASS. So , change your mindeet and your behaviour will change with it towards taking and revising for the exam. Thats all. The rest will follow. goodluck dont lose hope.! Hello, nagkaroon kasi ng embargo for a while eh, lero may mga dmting naman na mga bagong staff from India, usually. Just check po sa mga agencies sa Pinas like Chesham and Abba, usually agencies will ask for a decision letter na. But you can always ask or try.( no harm)

They taught me a lot of tricks for each subtest that help me got through with all of them especially reading + speaking ( which I forgot now) but that helped me pass on my 1st try. Like you i was struggling, crying almost and losing hope . I cant speak fluently, i was nervous and shy.. but that 1 month intensive review saved me hehehe. I did nothing for a month but review. No work, or anything . Just focused on my ielts review . I think 4x a week class for 1 month

Hello , Hindi pa ako mag work sa US eh. i have friends over there , and all I know is that you can earn more over there compared over here but the quAlity of life accdg to (online data ) is better in Ireland. From a personal experience , i do not know if thats true ☺️

Hi po mag ask lang ako ng advice. I got my decesion later after 3 months of waiting. im not into practice sa Nursing. 2 options ang bingay sakin adaptation or aptitude test. ok lang ba ako mag adaptation? khit ndi ako nagprapractice sa nursing profesion im not confident sa hospital settings etc. andito npo ako sa Ireland. can i do adaptation khit wla p ako oet exam?

​​@@BoyetVentura Thank you🙂 I think they have different system now.. i applied for qualification of recognition and next step is registration process for d pin ones i got my adaptation and oet.. i called the Nmbi today as i am not aware if i need to get oet bfor i adaptation.. they said i can have my adaptation even without oet. but oet is needed for registration even if ive done adaptation but oet is not pre requiste for adaptation.. can u give me an idea which hospital in Dublin gives adaptation kahit ndi nila ako employed.. i called Beaumont hospital and they said they do adaptation only for those who will be accepted as there new employee.

I dont know how the process works if from here kana mag apply bcoz un experience namen from the Philippines talaga and nirequire kami ng IELts for nmbi registration😅

@@BoyetVentura ah ok i understand kc bgo cila mapunta dito ung agency need nila macomply.. but sa policy po ng nmbi even sa personal application u can apply sa qualification of recognation even without oet ielts. Sa registration npo kc un phase ng oet.. and i just also learned today i can do my adaptation even without my oet yet.. personal application lang na wla ako empoyer.. By d way im Eu citizen naturalized kaya dito nko nag process while working as Hca.

Hello. So, inask ko un housemate ko before sa Saudi & friend na pumunta sa Saudi council office ( near our accomodation) para i submit un (nmbi form) then from saudi council sila na nagsend to Ireland. I dont know if theres another way para gawin yun. But thats just my experience. hope that helps Gemnace😉🍀
