The biggest problem in the start of a rally career is MONEY. I really like rally, and through some contacts, i might be able to drive a rally car on a closed rally track next week. Ill update then. But i know for a fact that i love rally. Great video! Edit: sadly i got scammed in a way, as i understood from my mom i will be able to drive someone elses car, as it turns out i need to have my own car

I gave up on my dream of rallying because i realised all the people who do it earn 10x as much as me, well they must do anyway, to be able to rally and pay off a house and bring up kids and go on lavish holidays and rally overseas too. Oh and they have supportive friends and family and i have none. They're the beautiful people, I'm just an ugly loser.

U need a team, u need sponsor's, you need car thats certified to drive on the road and on the track, you need replacement parts for ur car, u need toolboxes, u need a trailer, in case ur car gets totaled, you will need to drive several hours to a event so you need a second car that is having that trailer, and for that trailer in the eu you need a second drivers license certification, and yeah so its really expensive and who really wants to be your co-driver when u are such a beginner. This is why i would recommend rallycross, there u Don't need a co driver but its still really expensive, so i would recommend to just pay some money 20-80€ to go on a normal paved track and get comfortable with ur car. There u don't race anyone except urself, but the problem is u still need replacement parts and maybe a trailer

Hey there, im 15 years old and I really dont know what I want to do in life. I had a interest in being a mechanic but I also have an interest in rallying. Now obviously i dont have my drivers license but as of now I have tried karting 2 times and I absolutely love it. Im gonna go see a rally cross event in a few weeks so like you said I will see if I actually feel like doing that. But to be honest I dont know what to do, like do I actually wanna be a mechanic? What do i do? So that interest in rally made me think, I thought it was a ridiculous idea but It might actually be what I want. Please tell me what you think (I live in canada btw if trhat changes anything)

I think that you’ll have to pick something that can help you reach that goal if you ultimately want to do rally so mechanic would be a great option
