Nugget fish and chicken totally agree I need to get better at defending but thanks to this video I've been comparing what I do to how other players would do in this situation. Personally I try and model myself on juventues' chiellini however van dijk is also an excellent player who shares these aspects of being aerially strong and composed on the ball. This video has helped me highlight the flaws in my performances as well as showing me what I need to do to improves, further videos on the topic of defending would be greatly appreciated!

Oliver Graham Cheilini? Hmm, don't get me wrong he is an out and out defender, but for this season and more seasons to come i don't recommend looking up to his skills, I'd rather you look up on current more experienced defenders like christensen, Van dijk, de ligt, or maybe Eric Bailly. These defenders are young and are prone to make mistakes, having to watch them teaches you how not to do that mistakes, however these defenders mentioned rarely makes mistakes in my opinion. Bailly has been solid from the first day he Join Man utd. Christensen has been superb when he was on a loan spell in Mochengladbach. De ligt has been in most of the top clubs wishing list, van dijk, i guess there's nothing more to say. Besides, you can also take pointers from each and every defender to study and try doing them on the picth. Hope you'll get professional. All the best. Take care.

Oliver Graham tbh yesterday i had a match and this vid totally helped me, i really had these pointers up on my head when i got the ball on my feet. It automatically switched on. Hahahah, i suddenly drive foward first rather than clearing to no one as there wasn't pressure and it helps my game and allows better start up play. So i hope the uploader reads our conversation and would think about uploading more defenders based on its analysis.

I think, this video focuses too much on Van Dijk's attacking play. And could focus more on interceptions/Vision/Positioning/Close Outs/Tackling and ogranisation of his back line, which to me is more important as a CB. I want my defensive mids to help in build up more so than my CB.
