*How TO Become Roman Catholic in 5 Steps:* 1) Ignore the NT written by the Original Catholic Church (just follow what Rome's catechism says) 2) Believe the added traditions of religious leaders these past 2000 yrs even tho they contradict the NT 3). Believe that your SPIRITUAL salvation is NOT because of Jesus, but because of PHYSICAL works you do 4). Openly DENY that Jesus' shed blood PURIFIED you (oops, 2Peter 2:1-3, 1Corinth 6:11) 5) Venerate, make statues, see visions, and give all the glorious attributes that belong to GOD/Messiah ALONE (sinless, immaculately conceived, mediator, leader to Christ, redeemer, crusher of Satan, giver of grace, etc) to a mere female creature (Mary).

I just got a reply at 9:27 this morning and instead of anything I expected…this is what he wrote: he said “Good morning Andrew, please give me a call after Easter and we will set up a date to meet. I am so pleased that you are interested in the Catholic faith. Blessings. Father Ken.” I’m really looking forward to this meeting

"My Catholic Faith" saved me from despair! I thought I was damned. I found an old edition by some miracle. It answered my questions, alleviated my fears and anxieties. Of course, prayer helped me discover it in some old bookstore. BTW, no one is Catholic without the Pope, whether this pope is flawed or sinful. Pray and God will lead you to the right books, the right guides. Prayer alone makes a better person. Fasting increases our self-control, so that we can resist temptations. A priest can be a spiritual guide. And if you don't believe in Mary, you're missing out as a Catholic. Catholics differ from other Christians also by belief in Tradition or faith by word of mouth. And also, this faith demands that we love our enemies.

This is an age-old practice of embezzlement of tax-exempt charity donations by helpers of the family within the family and fraud on need of union of identities of family members of valid and proper marriages as fallen for by St Paul in his "opinion" not given by God reported at 1Cor 7:25-34 that single consecrated celibate marriage vowed to Christ in man is superior as a calling to consecrated male female marriage vowed to God. The extreme tensions caused by this embezzlement and fraud were withstood on 10 June 2021 by Pope Francis in his exercise of an absolute power of simultaneous authorisations of: 1. procreation charity gift role of Vatican state citizens as helpers of the family within the family alleged embezzled by Cardinal Angelo Becciu and nine others, presently been heard in Pope Francis' Vatican state court, 2. identities of family members of valid and proper marriages in need of union insuring out at unacceptable risk of fraud by the Italian state citizens' representatives in the Italian Parliament "Zan" anti-homophobia bill, defeated in early November 2021 after a protest note to the Italian government against this bill authorised by Pope Francis.

I started RCIA "catechesis" in January 2019 and, yes, it was taught by lay parishioners (except the first four weeks when a catholic history professor taught early Church history. That was great!) Our RCIA classes often became confrontational between the older liberals teaching the classes and a few of us traditionally-minded converts, especially regarding Church tradition/teaching on salvation outside The Church and the death penalty. My takeaway, from what will have been 18 months as a catechumen, is left-leaning RCIA classes are great for making one favor Church tradition and the Latin Mass.

Catholicism has a sort of structure of stability and order I’ve always craved and when I contemplate all of the traditions, practices, and beliefs I find myself filled with a sense of peace and belonging and there is something beautiful about it as a whole. I’m at the beginning of my journey I’m just discovering and learning about it as much as I can prior so I can go into it fully committed. Although I’m noticing that there are several different types of Catholicism in my area which makes the decision a bit difficult.

Thank you so much for this. "My Catholic Faith" is fantastic. (I've read 3 pages and my life is genuinely changed.). I am transitioning to Catholicism. Tremendous fear because of my anti-Papist Protestant background but as an intellectual Catholicism makes the most sense. I think this is the year I find a mentor/guide, as you suggest. What an amazing and detailed guide and explanation. Thank you, Dr. Marshall. I became Catholic by undergoing the RCIA program in a very liberal parish and even though the people were wonderful and the sisters who ran the program were kind, the instruction was more like a liberal protestant congregation, than the RCC. However, I am currently in a traditional parish, The Oratory of St. Philip Neri ,and attend primarily the Tridentine (Latin) Mass. I LOVE being Catholic!

I'm a convert as well. The best decision I made in my life. The book I credit for my conversion more than any other, even the Catechism and the social and moral teaching of the Church (though those helped as well) was St John Henry Newman's Apologia Pro Vita Sua. Cardinal Newman detailed his journey of faith, the struggles he faced, how he overcame them, which helped convince me of the truth of Catholicism.

@@majafleur9646 as I’ve studied more, Mr. Marshall has a perspective that’s different from a lot of the church, and he does make it sound harder than it is. Talk to your local parish. My husband didn't know it, but he brought me into the church on our first date by saying he was Catholic. He passed away 6 years ago, and I began attending the Latin mass with my daughter and son-in-law. They were married just before the pandemic, so I moved in with them until the lockdown was released. I learned so much about the faith from them and others at church. Is it wrong to have protestant Bibles in your house? I don't read them, but one was my grandmother's, and the other was one I received from the minister in the third grade; he signed and dated it as well. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with "the rest of the class," as they say. My son-in-law recommended your channel to me, so I watch as much as I can. My vocal prayers I do through KZbin because I sometimes have coughing fits due to COPD, and I don't want to mess up those prayers.

Thank you for this great video. I grew up Christian but converted to Buddhism as a teenager. I will always love Buddhism, the philosophy and teachings/Dharma of the Buddha have saved my life more than than once. However, this past Christmas I started reading the Bible, and all of a sudden I felt that the Holy Spirit was with me. Since then I have desired to re-commit myself to God and Jesus, but there are still so many concerns, including those you mentioned. I still believe that faith can be great outside the corrupt organizations of man. I don’t want ANY of myself, especially not my money, supporting child abuse. This is evil, and especially bad karma as well as sin! Although sin gets forgiven, karma does not, therefore there’s more of an incentive to live carefully and morally. Although negative karma does not just go away with faith, a person can work really hard at generating merit, or good karma, to neutralize or overcome negative karma. I believe this system is so much better at promoting moral behavior than simply confessing and being forgiven. Perhaps this is why the corruption continues today. But, I have felt the loving power of Jesus, and that power is greater than anything I’ve ever experienced during meditation. As a I prepare to turn 40 there is a spiritual confusion happening for me! This information will help me sort this out!

Taylor, you MUST have this available at all times on your site. I left the Church I don’t know when, but a long time ago. I was Baptized and went to Catholic Church and school till 8th grade. I never learned some of these things or ever knew of them and I’m from south Louisiana. But it was the late 50’ to 60’s. I had no religious Ed after 1963(10 yrs old) but was in a Catholic school; we had study hall or art class instead of religion. The school was strict, excellent college preparatory. We lost Priests ( 9 Redemptrists to only 2) and Nuns ( 26 St.Joseph to only 8). I have no idea where they all went. The Parrish was closed some 39 plus years ago and was torn down some 30 years ago, it had covered 4 large square blocks it was beautiful. Classes were all very large 32 to 35 student’s, every grade had 6 classrooms, kindergarten up to the 12th grade. My graduating class had 622 students in 1971. What devastation. I became one of the losses.
