It’s still time to have new experiences you know, we’re still very young. To be honest i’ve had a lot of them these past few years, new very close friends, my first boyfriend which i love with all my heart. But now i feel kinda the same way as you because im no more in contact with these friends since we had a big argument and my boyfriend and i broke because of our religions. You can take the positive from this, at list you didnt waste time and energy on things you would have lost. Connect with yourself, meet people try new things. You wont find happiness in others but you can work on yourself to be able to enjoy life with all its good and bad. I dont know if its clear but all that to say you didnt waste anything, take actions now if your current self is not your ideal, its always time :)

Hey Shimon, i was talking to this girl for a bit and we flirted and liked eachother but i asked her out to a date but then my mom said it won't look good on our family (Pakistani culture) so i had to cancel the date. Despite cancelling she still showed interest and proceeded to ask me to be her bf to which i couldn't cos my mom told me focus on my studies and get a girl when im 19 or 20 (im 16 rn).
