Glad to see what i do is recommended as a best practice. I keep a master list in excel, a daily list in excel for my daily work week and diary as in my email calendar. It really works well for me and gives a sense of control. As Steven covey says, the Quadrant 2 activities are what should be done most of the time. So glad to be part of the top 8%

great.... I am a fan of yours since 2000 when I had read TIme Management. But the price of the book is too high to be kept in my book self. Thank you.

yes I agree! You know I only get £1 when they sell it for £30?? Anyway edition 2 is out in a few weeks, fully updated and rewritten, it will be really good!

I find there are two different people that use my lists. Guy 1 has it somewhat together and writes the list at the end of each day, Guy 2 has little to no clue what he's doing at the start of each day until he's read the list.

Simple yet effective! Do you have any recommendations regarding a planning tool or program?

Personally I use google calendar for the diary side of things, I put my jobs to do in my diary but in a different colour so I know they are moveable as opposed to fixed appointments, and then for my master list I use my own app (free from App Store / google play which is called JobsToDo - try it!)
