How To Belizean Powder Buns | The Best Recipe

Belizean powder buns are a lightly sweetened fluffy and crumbly treat. Simply put, powder buns/powda buns or poda buns are a cross between a tea cake and a cookie.
Other Belizean add a bunch of other spices, but I only add cinnamon and vanilla.
Ingredients:
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. granulated white sugar
4 T. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. powdered vanilla or liquid vanilla
2 eggs
2 oz milk
If you omit the eggs then you will need more milk, if you use 3 large eggs like I did, you will need approx 2 oz milk. The raisins and chocolate chips are all optional. I added 1/4 of each item to quarter of the dough. It's best if you can add the treats into the dry ingredients instead of after the dough is already formed.
