Great tip! I have a set of these monument benders in both sizes, love them. I've found a spray of silicone lube on the guide and former makes them work better and prevents any chance of rippling.

And this right here is another reason why the monument benders are a great bit of kit! No dicking about with having to set up guide’s whenever you need to adjust the kick size.

Times your travel by 1.414 so 50mm x 1.414 then mark that dimension on your pipe then bend 2 x 45s on your 2 marks

Is that centre of pipe to centre of pipe, or inside edge to inside edge?

Would you be able to upload a video of using your pipe bending technique on a real installation? Would be cool to see. Ever since becoming a qualified plumber and working on repairs and maintenance i never really got to do much pipe bending and my confidence in bending pipe is pretty low now.

Not a problem, best advice I can give is practice bud. Just buy a length and get practicing 90s and sets

Wouldn’t your formula work here the one where you times your distance by 1.4?
@mmplumberАй бұрын
Yeah it would
@Scott-h6rАй бұрын
What is the smallest offset you can get using the 1.4 method before you'd have to reduce to a 30 degree bend? And then what's the smallest offset you can get with the 30 degree mark before you have to stop using those marks altogether?

Hi bro. An a cuestión bro, where can i find this bender, i'm from mexico, or the Brand to look for it. SORRY for my english, i hope u undertand what i said bro. Thanks.

I really don't get what is happening here. If you put two bends in (done at 1:10) with the end result being the two ends being parallel to each other, I don't see how you can make more bends. If you extend the existing bends, you'll go further than parallel. Yet somehow it works? I must be missing something.

The pipe slightly stretching means the hook is moving down slightly It's also rippling the pipe which isn't great

@@mdocko2285 defo grab the 15. It fits in tool bags nicely like the veto wrencher which is what I use. The 22mm version im yet to get as I still like using the 22mm normal ones like the hilmors for torque. I generally work on 15mm more so it’s perfect! You will defo get more accurate using it
