How To Bend Forward With A Herniated Disc: It can be scary having to bend forward with a herniated disc. You don’t want to make your pain worse but you know bending forward is inevitable. What I want to do today is show you how to bend forward with a herniated disc the same way I used after rupturing my L5-S1 disc.

Thank you very much for showing forward bending because I have disc problem.Here after I ll bend forward like this only my problem is solved

I just squat to work I do mechanics and welding and I rather work squating I don't bend much since I have facet joints injuries to and I've been good lots of work outs for core and lower back muscle the Romanian chair has helped me alot it a really good work out.

I’m a visual learner . I have Dr McGill’s book. But I prefer to learn from video. Do you have a whole series of rehab videos for L5 S1 disc bulge ? I’m ready to strengthen. Just threw out my back 3 weeks ago and I never want to do that again! Thank you 😊

Any advice for someone that is 1 month out of 3 and 4 and 4 and 5 spinal fusion. Everything is going good my issue is my right quadriceps keeps getting a cramp at least one a day. Man it hurts like crazy. Thanks to all that might reply. 😃

What about hip hinge to pick up the item? You are keeping your spine as neutral as possible when doing so.

I have bulging disc and degenerative disc disease can i go to gym and workout?

Thank you for this video. Last year the physical therapist who used to treat my lower back pain told me to drop my buttocks when bending forward. Is that a good idea at all? Also, my lumbar MRI from last week came back with arthritis, stenosis on L5-SI AND a bulging disc with a small annular tear there. Can you do a video with exercises for people like me, who have both stenosis and a bulging disc? And I have one last question: sleeping on my back hurts like hell, even if I use a pillow underneath my legs. I can only sleep on my side. So when I had my MRI, they had me laying on my back the entire time and when it was done, I was in such pain I struggled to move in order to get up from the examination table. And I am still in a lot of pain. Is this normal?

I have had severe back pain for the last 3 years and have only recently found out it is being caused by a herniated disc I work with horses and have to do alot of bending over and picking things up and am trying to minimise pressures to my back as I am only young and was wondering if there is a safe way to pick up heavy things whilst keeping the pressure minimal and with some tasks I have to stay bent over for a while is there any way to make this less harmful?
