The addition of Mega Heracross is definitely going to change things up within Pokémon GO. It will be a very powerful Mega Evolution, especially for Raids. In this video, I will be describing how to best build this Pokémon in order to get the most out of it!

As someone from Florida, it's nice to finally have Heracross get its mega. Used to use these guys back on my fighting teams when I was still starving for a full team of Machamps.

Heracross is one of the best looking Megas and the strongest bug type in the game so far...

Mega Heracross is a better fighting attacker than mega Blaziken. But I'm fairly certain that a lv50 mega Blaziken will outperform a lv 40 mega Heracross. If you lack the xl candy for Heracross, you're better of with a mega Blaziken.

Of the top 3 mega fighting mons, Heracross is the one best suited for being hit by Ground types. Blaziken and eventually Lucario will get bopped by any raid boss that brings those moves to battle. It also seems bulkier to me. It would be a cool bug option, sure. You just gotta know when to do it.

did around 6 raids, got 2 shiny heracross, but 1 was raid and 1 was walking home, I live in the south so get more heracross pops here.

Did 22 raids, got two 91 iv, and 1 shiny... luck was not on my side that raid day. I was able to mirror trade with my son and got 1 lucky trade, mine sucked, but he got a 96 iv. So that was nice

Yes, according to GO hub its #1 Overall Fighting type, for DPS it's #2 due to Mega blaziken having 0.8 damage more than heracross
