I love the “Easiest Binding Method EVER!” Videos that include phrases like “MUST be [measured, stitched, pinned] EXACTLY right” or forget it, just burn your quilt. How is that “Easy”? This method is easy in actuality and doesn’t require neurotic perfectionism. Quilting is daunting enough. We don’t need more reasons to fear doing it. Thank you for this. The non-perfect quilters of the world needed this.

thanks so much for this "all I needed to know" tutorial. I've made exactly 4 quilts in my life - one in 1975, one in 1981, one in 2006 and the 4th in 2014 - just finished. So you can see I'm no expert! This one came out beautifully and I'm so proud. One observation for other non-experts. I have machine quilted and bound all 4 of my quilts without a walking foot and the quilts have all come out fine. I actually bought one to use this time, but couldn't figure out how to attach it (despite all the helpful videos on KZbin) so I just used my machine's regular presser foot. I probably had to go more slowly, but it was not bad and my results are perfect (well - sort of perfect.)

This is the best demonstration I have seen. One that actually has the camera focused on the needle and binding, which makes it easy to see exactly what is going on. Other videos I've seen are all over the show and make following extremely difficult
