Thank you for this video I had to reset my Traxxas TRX 4 Blazer after placing in the tqi link on my remote and all it really did was make it harder to use the remote control because this model doesn't really support it too well and it made a lot of glitches and twitches in the steering and made it harder to control the truck.

Dude you’re a fricken life saver. Thanks so much. I didn’t have reverse and this isn’t my truck. My friend wanted me to do a service check and he said not to break it. I was worried I blew the motor for reverse. But nope. It just took your help to reset it. Thanks.

I tried to switch the Mode from training mode and it did but when I tried to switch it back the light turned off for the speed control and it won’t turn back on but when I press the button it’ll turn the steering on but the lights not on and it doesn’t work for the throttle

This will work on tq, tqi is done in a similar way but not exactly the way in this video.

So I reversed the throttle but my break has also reversed on my trx 4 Sport. So when I push the throttle to go forward then apply the break it goes straight into reverse. When I let go of reverse then apply forward throttle it goes into break.

Ive been trying to sync my traxxas slash and followed these instructions. I got a new receiver and when i turned on the truck, the XL5 ESC module blinks green and the receiver itself is flashing red. (remote controller is flashing red as well) I have no idea of what im doing wrong.

Might be the servo. Chek it with another servo. It might also be the channel on the receiver.

I would try it with a different NIMH battery. If it still happens try factory resetting the esc, if still no luck might need to take it to a hobby shop so they can check the power.

You need to either switch the wires with each other from the motor to the ESC or you need to flip the plug from the ESC to the receiver the opposite direction

It might be under Lipo mode. Switch it from Lipo to nimh mode. This should fix it
