Thanks ! This is the best video I’ve watched on freezing beans. The drum drying segment was funny. Now I want a vac-sealer. 💕from Kentucky.

Thank you for this "how to" video. We have a lot of green and purple beans this year. BTW, love your accent! Have a lovely day.

Oh lovely! Yes I had some too and just managed to get a few batches in the freezer before the aphids helped themselves to the plants. Hope yours do better 😊

@@CookingandCalm so far so good. I'm in Mi and still harvesting. Did mine on an arch this yr with purple on one side and green on the other. Turned out pretty & very full but kind of hard to get to the beans on top😕 oops. Grandson loves the tunnel tho.☺

sorry I just saw this - and it made me laugh! I grew cucumbers on the trellis against a fence this year and many disappeared between the two then tried to force their way out when grown to giant size. 🤣

Thank-you, did not know to lay out and dry them, and to freeze in single layer first then pack into freezer bag. Food Saver is on my list maybe by fall. I am single and I liked the freezing for small amounts. New subscriber here....Good day from Tennessee.

Good day to you Sherry and welcome 😊. Yes learning how to freeze really helps when you are cooking for one or two . A food saver does really help keep things for longer - I still have green beans from last season! Glad you found it helpful and good to connect with you 👍

Being retired military and 100% disabled we grow all of our food here. This year we have 20 bean plants and I was thinking on how to save them and ran across this video. Thanks for the info…from Portales, New Mexico

Thank so much and good to connect with you. Twenty bean plants is amazing! A full time job just getting those picked, I bet. I'm not disabled but have chronic pain which ebbs and flows - it's a lifesaver to have a full pantry for those tough days. I just checked out your channel quickly and it's inspiring to hear your story. My dad was in the Royal Navy in the submarines for many years. I've subscribed and look forward to learning from you both. Have a lovely day.

@@CookingandCalm well from submariner to the other Thanks. I have British dolphins from a submarine that visited Hawaii when I was there. I spent 20 years on submarines, 13 years and 6 months underwater

Wow, that's incredible. I was just looking at some of dad's old books from the 50s on Deep Diving and Sub Ops recently. One starts "The moon and its secrets are the goal of the Airman; the abysmal depths of the Ocean and it's mysteries, the goal of the Submarine Explorer". A very, very hard place to be, but also very special, quite unique and not well understood. Hope you are well today and the green beans are thriving 😊
