Little tip depending on the hair dye you have like artic Fox you can use a little bit of liquid developer or even just a little bit of water in it shake it up and it just comes all out just as vibrant as the pure dye. Other guys like manic panic or splat id use cream developer or conditioner

This is great advice. My hair is naturally light brown, or very ashy dark blonde (roughly level 6), looks similar to your roots, and also bleaches super easily. With a strong bleach it takes like 10-15 minutes to get it pale yellow. So this method with the bleach bath might work for me. I've given up on growing my hair past shoulder length because it's so thin and fragile, like it just grows out that way, but I still like having some color in it without completely killing what little hair I have lol. So either way I have to be super careful with bleaching if I wanna have any hair left to dye.

My favorite is iroiro hair color idk if you can get that brand I live in the states but if you can and haven't tried it you should the neon yellow is amazing and glows in black light

Hi! You did a lovely job! I have some questions and it would be helpful for me if you answer. 1. What level would you say your natural hair color is? 7 or 8 maybe? 2. If you wanted to go platinum blonde, would you have done the roots and the lengths differently? How would you do it? My natural hair is ashy level 6 and I color it with a 7.4 copper color. I have roots and I am contemplating going platinum blonde again. The color has faded and I am thinking of bleaching some highlights, dying the roots copper again and toning the hair copper and maybe next month do a bleach bath and then platinum toner. My only concern is if the roots will go lighter than the lengths. Should I do the bleach bath before having new roots or should I wait for them to come out? The copper fades pretty quickly so I’m thinking after coloring it maybe I could wash it more often for 10 days so it fades and then go with the bleach bath.

Jag brukar köpa fanola developer och färg/blekning från pluus, fanola är cruelty free vad jag har hittat men hittar inget om det är veganskt, vilket antagligen betyder att det tyvärr inte är det. Men dem har ändå ett bra utbud där. Sen finns det ju tex four reasons (som även säljs som box dye) men alla sidor där jag har hittat dem behöver man en frisörsalong till. Ifall du hittar någonting om fanolas färger är vaganskt får du jättegärna länka det😊

As a professional, what you’re doing is called a soap cap. It’s not used to bleach roots, it’s to use in the bowl to lift yellowness really quick on already bleached hair. You should use a bond builder like olaplex or something similar bc they’re sold in places like Sally’s now (sorry idk what’s in sweden) and a 10 or 15 vol developer since you already have naturally light hair. There are also lighteners that have bond builder already in them. Sorry, I just wanted to clear this up & give safe advice to you & anyone who reads bc you can be sued for giving unprofessional advice if someone listens to you & something goes wrong 😭

She doesn't claim to be presenting professional advice, she's not charging money, or offering any guarantees so I doubt she needs to worry about that outcome. I mean I guess technically anyone can sue anyone for anything if they want to, but I imagine the case here would be weaker than my arthritic joints. Your hair lifts so good. My hair.. not so much. A bleach bath wouldn’t lift my roots that blonde.. I need a 20 vol developer and I use blondeme lightener. I need maybe 2 rounds of it. I wish I could just lift my roots with a bleach bath

I desperately need to get my hair trimmed I can do it myself went to school for it but I'd rather be pampered for a change I just won't ever have a salon bleach my hair considering they fried it and burned it off I've never done that to myself or any of my friends. That lady had no idea what she was even doing and was the owner of the salon a older women who didn't have much experience with trends or bleaching I told her what to do and to check it etc and she didn't listen and while she was applying bleach was telling me a story time about how she bleached some clients hair then attempted a perm on her client and then her hair was falling out right then and there I saw red..but the damn bleach was already on my hair and she was laughing histerically about how she made this poor girls hair fall out. I went quiet and then told her to please wash the damn bleach outta my hair she wanted to charge me 198 dollars for frying my hair I told her I wasn't paying that much. And then she even had the balls to try to sell me a hair treatment..I couldn't believe the nerve she had. Needless to say I gave that salon a bad rating. Im Sure other men and women who work there aren't all bad hair stylist but I had enough and a bad service. It was the cutting crew here in upstate new York in Oswego county

Don't do it friend, as a hairstylist I've had to fix many attempts at baking soda and peroxide diy jobs. The baking soda doesn't really have enough lifting power to lighten your hair, so basically it's just the peroxide that is lightening the hair, and the peroxide on its own usually isn't enough to get the hair light enough.
