I used this method when replacing the bars. Now clutch slips in 4,5th gear at 3k+ rpm. Any suggestions?

When I'm doing the final bleed on the clutch? Do I hold it in Like I'm bleeding a break or just pump it up and bleed.

Yep. Shud be a super simple job. Except the exhaust pipes block that cover from easily coming off. So you have to partially or fully disassemble your exhaust system to reach the bleeder valve. Turning what shud be a 20 min job into multiple hours and a giant PITA. 🤬

Don't cross thread the clutch line connection at the slave cylinder, it's super soft aluminum and $200 part to replace....

I have to loosen the bolt that holds the brake and hydraulic line to the levers so I can adjust them because the lines are hitting my bars on a bike I just bought that I had to pull back. Thanks for making this video the dealer was going to charge me 200$ to do this adjustment .

I’m running all my lines and cables inside my bars. Working on a Deluxe so it didn’t have a hydro clutch before. If you’re installing a new system, should I compress the puck inside the cover to allow fluid to fill it up or will it do it on its own when I press the syringe? I hope I’m explaining myself right. Thanks in advance.

Do you need to change the hydrolic cables with 14 in monkeys bars? Seeing in the forums you don’t have to.

Yes. You do. Either change the lines or put on extensions such as those sold by HeliBars or Fat Bagger.

What size wrench did you use on the bleeder valve? Nothing standard that I have works. It seems like 6mm. I have to buy a wrench for it and was going to get a 6mm because 1/4” is just a hair bigger.

This may be a dumb A** question but , where is the bleeder valve on the 2016 Street Glide Special transmission case?

Not at all. On the side of the transmission there is a cover that has "six speed" stamped in it. This is simply a cover for the clutch slave cylinder. It comes off with 2 bolts and then exposes the slave cylinder, clutch line fitting connection, and the bleeder screw. No need to worry about oil or anything, as it is just a tin cover. Hope that helps.

+Charles Collins yes, that is correct, assuming your bike is a 2014 newer bagger. Not a road king, because they have a cable clutch until 2017.
