This video will show you how to bleed the hydraulic steering on a Seastar system. Air in the hydraulic lines can cause your steering to be loose and is a serious safety hazard.

Nice video very helpful, but I have a question where does the air escape to? I didn’t see any holes or does does the kit come with a valve?

It bubbles up into the bottle and more fluid goes in. Hope that helps. Tight lines!

why don't you open the bleed nuts all the way?

You are just trying to bleed the air out of it. You want the fluid to stay in.
