Captain Dave I’m sorry for all the haters, I’ve been using MMO since 1992 I run several boats year round doing commercial diving and this stuff is amazing, I get 6-8 seasons before changing seals and one boat went 16 years. Don’t listen to the dildos talking smack. Let them spend the money they don’t have. You are a good dude keep it coming. Take care.

No intention of disputing Marvel Mystery Oil or the various grades of commercial hydraulic oil as far as which is better for boat steering, I can personally attest to this formula: 3 parts ATF , 1 part #2 diesel. I have used this in two commercial fishing boats with NO seal leakage in 20 years.

Hi I just bought a uflex hydro steering cylinder because my HC5345 seastar pivot bolt bushings came loose on both sides some how and lost my steering out in the water. Seastar wont sell me the bushing bolt kit and thats all thats wrong. My seastar works great but its jimmy rigged right now with a rod and bushings tied like a castle nut. Will that mystery oil be ok in that UFLEX. Im sure its the same concept design. On how things work. Uflex- seastar. Craps all the same... Just never heard of this mystery oil used in the steering.
