Honestly I had doubts when I was watching this, but I tried it and it worked like a charm!!! I have the most stubborn cowlick at the front of my hairline, and I have long wispy fringe. Completely solved my problem, had to comeback like and comment on this video. Thank you so much for uploading this!!!
@rubyb50977 жыл бұрын
Even though the model has a straight hairline and hardly has a cowlick, this technique does work for crazy hairlines. I have a very uneven heart shaped hairline with a horrible cowlick and I’ve been using this technique for 15+ years on myself and have had every type of bang imaginable, even precision Bettie bangs. I’m now a hairstylist and have given many people bangs who never thought it was possible. If you have really frizzy or thick-frizzy hair you can use a dense boar bristle type brush instead of the comb. If you have a crazy hairline like mine, find a stylist that will work to add the right amount of hair from each side to give you even looking bangs.

she does 1:21 there her hair has a parted side, if she doesn't have a cow lick it wouldn't parted, instead it would cover it. That's why cowlick sucks.

I just got a cut that has bangs/fringe & I haven't had bangs since I was a teen but I love it I really do & my stylist cut it knowing I have a cowlick. I'm fine with it to the sides because that's what the cut looked like but I'm gonna try this. This is taking some getting used to tho because for 15 some odd years I've not had anything in my face🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I do love it tho & wish I'd had it cut like this sooner.

I have a cowlick in the front of my hair on my right side that causes my hair to split/separate from the rest of it. When it does that, it looks awful. I end up with one section right in the front that just hangs by itself. How do I solve that problem?!

Hey Becky, try the blow drying technique... also, your hairdresser may have some tricks for you or potentially a haircut that will work with the growth patterns

Thanks! There is very little information on how to cut and style a fringe when you have a strong cowlick on one side and your hair wants to part naturally in a certain way on one side of the head ( and not in a neat triangle to the middle on the crown , like you normally cut bangs) I have a high forehead and slightly longer face, which means a fringe looks good on me. But I also have a strong cowlick on one side and my hair doesn’t like to part in a nice triangle in the middle of my head. What do I do? Just try to ignore my growth pattern , comb it as normally done with a point of a triangle in the middle of my head and blow try it and hope my hair will get used to it or do I cut and blow dry it differently? How would I cut a side swept bang with a strong natural side part cowlick? Do I still cut it, parted in an exact, neat triangle with a point in the middle of the head or do I cut the hair where it wants to part. Thank you! I think a demonstration would help a lot of people. Thank you again. Great videos! I have learned a lot from them. If you have answered the question already, I apologize. I will check out all your other videos. Just found them!
