You could reheat the corn in boiling water or in a steamer pan. A steamer pan would be fastest. If you are desperate you could microwave it but it seems to heat the inside of the cob faster than the outside corn.

When I was a kid, we used to have an annual family reunion. My great uncles would set a huge cast iron cauldron of water boiling over a fire and then go out in the field and pick the corn! Best corn I ever ate.

This is probably an ignorant question :) But did the corn at the top of the pot cook all the way through, even though one side of the cob was not completely submerged in the water? Did that one cob need extra time? Thanks for the great video!

Cold or hot water to a boil?

I read that 3 minutes any longer the sugar in the corn makes it starchy.

I always start with cold or room temperature water and then bring it to a boil. I think you could start with hot water if you want to.
