Why is it that "Get more website visitors" not available for one post but it is available for others? (it's not a video post) - great and to the point video by the way!

Thanks for asking! From my experience, "Get more website visitors" doesn't appear if your original post doesn't already have a website link in it. Is it possible that's what's happening with any of your posts that don't show the "website" option? And thank you for the kind words about the video!

Thanks so much for asking! I will say that "boost post" may not be as robust, but for many business owners, they don't have time to deal with all the intricacies of Facebook Ads manager. So if it's a matter of doing "Boost Post" or not doing advertising at all, I'd go for "Boost Post." 🙂

Thanks for the informative video! Question, if you chose IG and/or WA as ad placements, does that take away from your FB reach? Example, if my budget is “$30” and I chose all FB, IG, and WA as ad placements, do they a allocate $10 to each? Making the reach on FB less?

You're welcome, Ricardo! Yes, if you have a total ad budget of $30, it will be spread out among the different platforms, thus reducing your reach on FB. It won't be divided evenly, though. If Facebook sees that you're getting better results on one platform compared to another, it will deliver more of your ads to the successful platform. In the end, it doesn't really matter which platform your ads go to. If you're targeting a specific audience with a specific demographic, you'll reach that specific audience no matter where you find them. I hope that helps!

When I boost a post. What does it mean when it says "people who like your page and people similar to them"? It used to say people who like your page and their friends. Does it mean the same thing or something different ? I need help 😔 And also. If I click on "people you choose through targeting" does that mean people who like my page will also see it when I sponsor a post??..

Thanks so much for asking! "People similar to them" means people who tend to have the same interests/demographics as the people who like your page. It's actually a decent thing for FB to offer as an audience, as you're certainly targeting a certain type of person. It wasn't as helpful when FB offered "and their friends" because "and their friends" might not be your ideal audience. As for your question about "people you choose through targeting," that's separate from those who like your page. I hope that helps!

If you're boosting a post that's already on your page, then people who like your page will already be able to see it (at least a small percentage of them will automatically have the post delivered to their newsfeed). This is all if you're doing the "boost post" button on your page, by the way. But you can create a more intricate audience with more options if you create it through Meta Business Suite, then save the audience and use it for future ads.

Thanks for letting me know. It still shows on my screen, and I saw it on a couple of my clients‘ screens earlier this week. So if FB made changes again, it must have been extremely recently and not everyone has it yet. Another possibility is the word „objective“ - I‘ve seen that in FB Ads Manager but not in Boost Post. 🙂
