If you try this at home don’t try to copy exactly the way he’s doing it, everyone has different body mechanics and as such you have to find what works for you by trial and error. You can take his premises and moves don’t try to be that guy tho.

Dan and Lilly that’s good do you want to be like in a weight class if so Do you know what you are like a slugger, unorthodox boxer, orthodox box, counterpuncher, swarmer? Or are you doing it to learn and just lose weight ?
@cloud_monkey422
@cloud_monkey422 4 жыл бұрын
The Hive well I’m probably a bit old to start a career lol but I’ve always been a sit in the pocket brawler type. Mma Wanderlei Silva comes to mind lol but as I’ve gotten older I’ve started to like boxing more and more and I wanted to learn like some of my favs starting with Tyson and his angles and peekaboo style Makes me learn to stay on my toes with head and foot movement but also allows me to keep a more square style I’m used to. I was only doing it at home to lose weight and maybe learn a thing or two while training and now that I’ve got a heavy bag, double end bag, made my own slip (Maize) ball and use my hand wraps as a slip line and I’m so into it it’s starting to become more than just lose a few pounds haha it’s been fun. It’s been deff great to exercise my mind as well while exercising physically.

Depends how you box and how you've been taught because if you cant counter a counter and both your feet are off the mat...I'm afraid you're in for a nasty knockout. Best way I could think to explain is to pivot on your lead foot while mainting weight on your back foot...seems kinda hard but it's easy once you see it. That being said my way isnt much different from his I just find it easier 🤷🏾‍♂️ in conclusion use the same basic principles he demonstrates just adapt it to your comfort. Edit: great tips tho💯👏🏾
