I would never use this because it's to loud! Its draws attention! I have 2 of these breakers. Its a lot easier to use a quiet tool like a hanger, pull bar, magnet etc. So no break ins are going to get worse because of window breakers. 😂

Car jackers don't want to use some loud ass tool that draws attention like a window breaker! They want quite tools like hangers, bars, pullies & magnets that way nobody hears them breaking into the vehicle. And car theft isn't going to get worse just because of window breakers. People been robbing cars since cars were invented. But window breakers will save so many victims lives by being able to escape the vehicle a lot faster. I have two and they work great! Works Just as advertised

Please be aware of the type of window you have in your car before you rely on a window breaker. Modern cars has started putting the shadow resistance as the windshield on the passenger windows. This means that the car windshield will crack, but will not shatter meaning you cannot get out of your car. In the event that your car ends up in water quickly roll down the window and get out you have between 30-40 seconds before that is no longer feasible and you drown. Do not stop to call 911 while still in the vehicle.

Almost all windows have a form of plastic film this is to prevent if the window shatters from glass flying at you this is particularly helpful if you are still driving and a rocket your windshield as you don't want glass being blown by 60 mph winds directly into your face. However the film is not indestructible and due to how sharp the glass fragments generally are You can generally punch through it and climb out however be sure to cover your arm with something like a piece of fabric before you do.

Also I just figured I'd mentioned this tempered glass can be broken with pretty much anything with a point for instance a screw on the end of a hammer or even something like a screwdriver as long as it's not blunt and it has some form of a point you can use it and if you're really in a situation a beefy knife could probably crack it too

That small device is called 'Resqme', it has a seatbelt cutter on one end, and a small piston with ball bearing on the other. You just press the corner of the glass using very little force, and the window explodes. I bought 2 and left 1 in each vehicle.

Yep everybody should have one on their key chain you can usually still reach the ignition if your strapped in , but not allways the glove box and if you roll your car your gonna find out fast how much stuff you have in your car

Yeah I've used my Kubaton to break a window before. Didn't take much force. A good whack and it made the window glass explode into thousands of pieces. I don't know about the one in the video, but mine has a fine point at the tip made of some kind of metal.

For clarification a kubaton has a metal tip witch is comparatively softer material to the hardened ceramic of a car window breaker trying to break a window with it is both difficult and dangerous
