Once last summer my team mate threw his racket against the ground (clay!) in frustration. It bounced off the ground and over the fence surrounding the court - into an area where you can go only if you have a key. Play was suspended until they found someone with the key cause my team mate couldn't play on without that racket.

You guys have definitely made my day...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA This was the most useful tennis lesson ever, even if I've got more techniques to share with you. DO-IT-YOURSELF: 1. holding the racquet by the head and the handle (using both hands), kick the centre with full power and anger until it breaks in two stumps 2. repeatedly hit it against a post 3. if you want to take your time in breaking your racquet, hold it by the head OUTDOOR: 1. go to the nearest parking, lean the handle on a firm, not too high, object just to lift it from the ground, pass over it with your car. The biggest the car, the greatest the result. For extra-anger, consider a second pass in reverse 2. use it as a leverage to lift a heavy object, better if immovable 3. if you're a Star Wars fan, you're gonna need it to save your life in a trash compactor THE CANTONA'S STYLE: 1. against your opponent's head (for too much joking on you or excessive showing off) 2. against the umpire's back (for too many calls against you) 3. against a too much talkative spectator BONUS: ok, this one's not a real "break-your-racquet" technique, but if you've had enough of your racquet, give it to your dog: it'll dig a hole somewhere and hide it from you forever...

@@TopTennisTrainingOfficial Well, honestly I feel your videos cover pretty much every aspect of the game there is... Perhaps specific strategies/adjustments for clay court matches. Just played a tounament on that surface and I found it much harder to commit on attacking short balls, especially junk balls. Perhaps because the sometimes funny bounces make u hesitate, but for me mainly because after some time in the match your arm get used to brushing the ball all the time and when you need to hit flatter, the arm just doesn't follow. But hey nobody said it would be easy !

I vote for Alex, the Defiler of Rackets, because the fine art of Racket-Smashing is to keep the destroyed racket in one piece, like Alex demonstrated excellent. So what about Simons racket-smash: how to use a racket in two pieces? By the way there is one great method of smashing rackets, you guys have not mentioned: the good old angry smashing against the net post. Anyway a great video for angry performance on court :-))) All the best Jörg

can you talk about how ISR and the legs contribute to generating power? also, I find when go for the on-the-ground racquet break, I'll miss, and sometimes hit my shins, or miss the ground completely...is it because I'm not watching the contact point... Perhaps I'm looking up too early to see where I'm going to throw the racquet. any tips would be helpful, thx. FYI: I am NTRP rated 4.5, and have successfully broken about 10 racquets... but still have trouble breaking them under pressure when anyone is watchign.
