Going for someone who isn’t necessarily your typ doesn’t have to mean going for someone that you don’t find physically attractive. Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive.

I don’t think that’s what they were saying. It went more along the lines of someone might be very attractive, but not be your usual “type”, and to give people like that a go. 😊

Magically.. somehow, Matthew always knows what topic needs to be addressed on which day. Its like he's a mind reader. 👀😂. And today, THAT was the one I needed to hear. Thanks for the video! 👏 💜

I’m currently dating someone who makes me feels calm, relaxed and “seen”. I am super attracted to him because he has the biggest heart I’ve experienced and I’m feeling that rush or surge of newness Marie mentions in the interview. My previous long term relationships have been toxic; I stayed too long, lost myself trying to make them happy and had my heart stomped on. 💔 After the last one, I spent time sitting w my feelings, meditating, journaling and switching my programming through a lot of soul searching and honesty. Self love was the answer for me and it’s now matched me up w someone I wouldn’t have been attracted to before who has a similar focus! 😍

Brilliant and makes so much sense. Once you step into something where you’re appreciated and showed up for in so many ways❤, it’s a stark contrast to what you’ve put up with thinking it was right😢

Great advice! I experienced this when I met my current BF a year ago. I think it’s also important to do the work to understand why you’ve pick the same type over and over. I worked on my attachment style. The result has been amazing! This has been my best relationship yet!

While physical beauty may be the initial quality that attracts us to each other and is of primary importance for short-term mating, it is the most transient and perishable part of us as we age. Shared values, a similar mission and purpose, and psychological safety are qualities that keep us together in long-term relationships.

Honestly this is soooo helpful insight . When the blueprint is completely different and YET feeling more myself … crazy how the quality changes when you don’t go your usual “type”

Great advice. Thank you both. I was never my best self in relationships until I broke out of my pattern.

Would LOVE to hear more conversation on how to rewire and vanilla and switch programming and COMMITTING to what feels more at home over physical attraction. How to prioritize this?? And stick to it? Love this conversation and can’t wait to hear more

All good, but so many say they have the same values (thinking highly of themselves) but, you find out after deep in, they are not true to their vision of their self.

Hola! Bendiciones 🦋🌼

i have been attracted to people looking very different physically,y at least measuring by color, height numbers, body types and etc but yet it was still the same result. i always encounter someone im attracted to physically with whom things dont work out, or there is someone im not attracted at all, or someone im attracted but doesn't feel enough, regardless weather i give a chance or not, i don't feel like things are any different. anyway i feel like this comment is a bit maybe worthless because of the differences people hav in concepts expressed. anyway all in all it all feels super hopeless. it feels whatever amount of work i so on myself, whatever external techniques I try, it results in the same.

I feel like I can only be myself with the same guys I pick over and over. I tried dating guys that arnt normally not part of my blue print and I never feel like I can be myself and tend to feel miserable. I even found guys who fit both are good for me and along the lines of what im looking for and I still feel empty. What is wrong with me?
