This is fucking inspiring!! I am coming very close to what you are achieving here using my cheap Korg Drumlogue, which has no screen for reference. 😅 But now... seeing this?! I'm going to try using some of these tips on my MPC One. I know it's not the same device as your Force, but I am thinking I can apply these principles to the four banks of 16 pads. And now, with the recent update, it might even be a more streamlined process. You are doing god's work sir!!

These techniques are absolutely applicable in the One, I'm glad you're getting some value here! I uploaded a video this evening on resampling for complex sound design, which I'll be releasing tomorrow. Those techniques will also work on your MPC One. Thank you for watching. :)

now we have achived squarepusher on the akai Force :) I'd been trying to shop the amen at lower tempos but never with great results.. is it there something about this fast tempo wich makes this kind of beats sounds great! thanks for your tutorials!!

The fast tempo helps with this genre in general, and it covers up a myriad of mistakes, lol. Slowing things down a bit requires a lot more precision, in my experience. Thank you for the kind words (Squarepusher, dang!), and thank you for watching. :)

Just follow mr funks rules for making breakcore and youll do fine.

I've seen him so many times, it's always an incredible experience. I prefer Snafu's "breakcore tutorial" though. It's hilarious. :) Thanks for watching.

@@danieklerr snafu is one of the only people ive heard talk about using tuareg on here. I still use it and tunafish sometimes just because its so simple and sometimes lack of bells and whistles can really help with your creativity. Really like the stuff bram bos has released on IOS too. I won an ipad at a meeting had no use for it at all wanted to get rid of it then found rozeta by bram bos and now few years later Im using the ipad for sequencing quite a bit more than anything else.

@@666nacirema666 .. I've never gotten around to using any type of tablet for music production, although many things have caught my eye over the years. I should set something up and give it a try. I live near a lot of wilderness, and I can dig the idea of spending a day in the mountains, working in headphones. Then returning to the studio and integrating my ideas.

Thank you for watching!
