Gotta give it to the keepers and their passion that makes the reptile and amphibian community possible. Their hard work and dedication helps us get our hands on some awesome critters. But great work Nick stay awesome my 3rd pet was an iguana as well definitely made me really do my research. That’s crazy you got into Savannah monitors as well that’s my main passion now. I ended up getting a pair of rock pythons soon after then had my own zoo shortly after. You definitely have an inspiring story and wish you all the best 🙋♂️✌️

Really interesting listening to Nick. Can tell that he's super passionate about what he does and most importantly that he has a lot of integrity and a sense of responsibility. Hoping for the best for his zoo!

I can't say this enough, I have been taking notes from so many podcasts. Great content! I wanted to say I am currently trying to breed Atelopus spumarius, I have 10 males and despite being told I was getting females i have yet to source any females. As soon as I do I will definitely be fallowing Nick's methods for the tadpoles. I do different educational shows at the local schools, boys and girls clubs, boy scouts, etc. I chose to use the Atelopus species as one that talk about conservation with as well as a few other reptiles and amphibians. Great content, Nick keep doing the amazing work you are doing!

What a lovely guy, talking about why he wouldn't go into a big cats enclosure or the car crash or advice on starting up. Not sure if I heard right, 12 acres? That is a manageable area, (brought up on a 10 acre Farm), maybe he is planning expanding for the drive in? You have some wonderful guests, Dillon, thankyou so much for introducing us to Nick. (By the way fresh sage leaves and honey tea is fab for a sore throat/croaky voice. Get better soon.)

I make hot lemonade with sage and honey…it works a treat, especially if you can get eucalyptus honey (I found mine in Greece). Loved meeting Nick and hearing his plans and experiences, thanks for having him on.🖤🇨🇦

19:33 - so like panda loaches. They literally will not breed unless water is pristine, cold and fast-flowing
