How to Brew a Delicious Hazy IPA on a DIY Electric HERMS Home Brewery

Check out my recent New England IPA (NEIPA) that was brewed on my DIY Electric HERMS garage brewery. This is my second attempt brewing this recipe.You'll get ideas on how to adapt an existing recipe, create a water profile, ferment on different systems, and see how I brew on my DIY Electric HERMS Brewery.
I'll wrap up this Brewday with a taste test and compare different yeast strains. I'll also compare my NEIPA to a commercial Hazy IPA.
The recipe:
7 lbs of Pilsner 2 row
3 lbs of Flaked Oats.
1 lbs of Torrified wheat
Fermenter #1
Londona Ale III
Fermenter #2
Imperial Dry HOP yeast
Water profile:
Calcium: 50 ppm
Sodium: 5 ppm
Sulfates: 35 ppm
Chloride: 70 ppm
Hops during whirlpool
1.45 ounces of Amarillo
1.45 ounces of Citra
.72 ounces of Mosaic
.72 ounces of Galaxy
Dry Hops
3 Days After Pitching Yeast
1 oz of Citra
1 oz of Amarillo
0.75 oz of Galaxy
10 Days After Pitching Yeast
2 oz of Amarillo
2 oz of Citra

Thanks for the feedback! I was pretty surprised with the results myself. My glycol system has been great, but these fermentation chambers can really hold their own using bucket fermenters. I should have this video ready shortly. Cheers!

Looks more like an American IPA but i bet it tastes great

It does taste great. I’m a little color blind, so my color comparison might be a little off. The taste is definitely in the neipa style of beer. Cheers!
