Nice job love the Anvil. I have the 6.5 and do 3 gal batches. Brewfather has my mash water at 3.8 gal and 1 gal for sparge. It seams to work perfectly. Keep up the great videos!!!

Hey John, thanks for the feedback! Im glad you’re enjoying the videos:-) I’m definitely going to adjust my mash water volume for the next brew. I think my issue could be a combo of things including recirculating speed, crushed grained and rice hauls, but another gallon of water would help IMO. Cheers!

I have the 240v Anvil foundry 10.5g and I agree that the Swirly disappointed me in ability to make a hop cone at end of boil. I never thought to use it for cooling , but I will give it a try next brew. Thanks for that!

172 degrees for a diacetyl rest!??? Lol Hope you didn't crank it up that high. I had to rewind to make sure I heard that correct

DOH! I meant to say 72 degrees. Although it would be impressive if my fermenter heating blanket could crank the heat up that high! Thanks for catching this. I can’t believe I missed this mistake until now. Cheers!
DEFINITELY NOT HAPPENING ON MY WATCH! 😒
