you can check ZPDrift on youtube , the man is running 9700rpm with shims but using dbw to close throttle at those rpms , so no bouncing rev limiter and destroy the whole engine

Might be worth mentioning the full differences geometry wise compared to stock on the videos so everyone can understand how different this engine now is. So things like bore, stroke, valve size, cam lift & duration etc etc. We can obviously google it all but it'd be a nice touch to the next video.

Out of curiosity, what is the advantage of removing the quench area in the combustion chamber?
@wa.gtrsoul3 жыл бұрын
I'd think the extra clearance would improve flow slightly around valves, but I'd think it's mainly to correct compression ratio when going from 2.6L to 3.2L while keeping standard piston shape.

Great build, I love it, ! I have a question tho, you aren't gonna use a crank trigger, or did I miss something? What are your thought process on this? Also, I'm currently using a 6boost exhaust manifold, and I am experiencing some boost creep on stock wastegate spring with a GTX35 Gen 2, from 14psi to about 20psi. Customer supplied his own manifold with a 50mm wastegate port... is there such a big difference with the 60mm wastegate port that it will avoid creeping? Thanks guys, I really love your videos!
