I wish you made this video year's ago. I finished my RB30 swap in 2019 into my R33 GTR Vspec and man it was hard. Especially, because I started it back in 2014 and many shops here in the states had never seen a RB engine. I'm currently in phase 2 of my build. Everything is coming out and the head is going out from more porting, and I need a bigger turbo. The Borg Warner EFR 9174 is to small, so I'm either going to a 9280 or 7685. Cheers brotha from New Jersey, USA.

@@1truzilla458 oh bro I was all done. Ran a modified base map for a few weeks and then got to my tuner and made 480awhp @17 psi on the mustang dyno for an hour. Did one pull on the road and the timing belt snapped. Tore it down and found a bolt and grommet backed out from the back timing plate and tore up the belt. But luckily I only damaged 4 valves and zero damage to the pistons. Now just waiting for parts I need, and the machine shop.
@1truzilla4583 жыл бұрын
@@Sunny2456- that's that RB fuckery. Bro, you saw my last dyno session. I put down 607 hp on pump gas and wastegate spring. I had a bad O2 sensor and it was throwing codes and messing up the fuel mixture on the dyno. So I pulled the car off the dyno, fixed the O2 sensor, and was driving around rich af. I drove the car down to VA to Fortune Auto for the new suspension. That gets done, I drive the car back 6 hours, park the car, start it up 2 weeks later. Poppes the oil line to the oil cooler, fix that. Park the car, dead battery, fix that. Take the car for a drive and it starts smoking. But nothing is wrong with my gauges and the ECU doesn't shut the car down. Come to find out the water temp sensor was reading ambient air temp and the motor was overheating. Now I've got to tear down the block and replace what is broken. So don't feel bad bro, we all catching it. That's the RB life.
