Hi, how are you? I went to Patreon and downloaded your villages, but when I enter the save, it doesn't continue the save, it starts from scratch, so I lose my wife and son. I wanted to continue where I left off, or without losing them. Can you help me because every time I open the save, it starts from scratch in Piastovia.

So when you load up my save it doesn't merge with your save so you can't play with your wife and son, you just pick up the character from my save, does that make sense?

I've found that if you just turn seasons to max 30 days, you have plenty of time to do whatever you want. You can still choose to change the season after 3 days, but don't have to. This gives you ample time to finish all the quests for that season, and take your time building your town the way you like it. If you change this one stat, then things like taxes, hunger, thirst, hp, etc don't really matter because you're always ahead of the game.

I think another tip is that you can build a house with just the base material. Destroy the walls and during rebuild you can edit the walls individually and it doesn't affect your villagers.

If you've housed villagers in a house and do this then they'll get removed and you'll need to reassign them if I'm understanding you correctly!

@PampaPampa- really? I destroyed a wall one at a time and rebuilt it from stick to log wood, and it had no effect on my villager living in it. If you destroy their bed by destroying the wood pillar frame it 100% kicks them out. But you can destroy and edit it as much as you want to get the right look from what I've done.

@Chuberino yeah unless something has changed in this latest update, even if you destroy a single panel of wall, it will evict your villager because the house is incomplete.

Omg the bridge! I didn’t know u could adjust height. I’ve been adjusting it by using ramps to get to the flat ones elevated. It’s a paaaain. This is super helpful !!

So far we usually have the builders and the survivalists, but it's just me who plays with fast craft+ no spoil than play as usual and little by little start building/decorating as I unlock more and more?

Do you have tips for preventing "too many objects"? I basically end up abandoning my towns midway through because all the clutter is bogging down my PC like no tomorrow. And that's despite my PC being a good one, and not wasting any objects to pretty up interiors you can't see while running through town. There's filling the inventory of compost bins and using larger items at the bottoms of baskets and suchlike, but... I could use more...

I've never experienced any issues with lag to be honest, nothing significant anyway! I know there was an issue with dropping framerate if you had a lot of lanterns/lights so you could try scaling them back a little but even that I believe they patched the worst of it out.

I was going to put this in as a tip but you can line them with fencing but you have to play around with the heights a bit to get it looking good!

ok so it doesn’t fit perfectly.. then move the first corner a little further out and put a window planter on the wall or sumthin 🤦‍♂️ it’s not rocket science.. and if you’re really worried about lining fences or walkways up, here’s a lil tip you didn’t mention or maybe don’t know.. put the hammer in destroy mode then build something and charge back to build mode once the plan is placed.. you get to see all the pretty colours and can line fences up with field edges or walkways to walls a lot easier..
