You did a great job on that! It was exactly what I was looking for to go over a small creek on our property. Thank you very much!

This video is so helpful for me. I live in a retirement community with beautiful woods, but we need to make a bridge for one wet spot. This is just perfect. Thanks for all your time making his available.

Great idea but isn't the pallett would rot after a while out in the elements? Mine did. Now I have a hardwood pallett but still because of the rain slowly deteriorate. Not sure what kind of wood be the best to build a long lasting bridge. If you have any input I welcome it. 🤩🤩🤩🤩

Hi Erika. Yes eventually, especially in wet areas. Mine is just starting to rot in a few places now. But we have been getting floods every month or so and the bridge has spent weeks completely underwater. Both soft wood and hard wood, will rot eventually, in consistently wet areas. But sealing your timber every 6 - 12 months will definitely prolong it's life. I use linseed oil on some of my outdoor builds (like my BBQ). But Tung oil is popular with a lot of people. Although the latter is more expensive. If I was building this over a small stream, that wasn't surrounded by swamp land. I would recommenced putting a bucket of gravel at the bottom of each post in the ground. This will help with drainage and getting excess water away from the bridge posts. I have linked to a great video on a DIY wood sealer that you might like to check out as well. 🎥 kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWi2maFmqNR2n7c Good luck and happy building 😊

Nice build. Good thing you have little structural engineers to test the load factor (and talk to the goats.) (here from instructables)
