Grandma here has shed this same shed sitting in storage a few years. I read directions, played it out in my mind, separated all parts in order of installation, and yet never trusted myself. Also, it’s a real reality check when you open the box and realize the materials are razor blade sharp. I can’t see any reason for this. It’s a simple fix just to add one more machine process and add a 1/8” or 1/16” fold on the panels before stamping into shape. Anyhow, I didn’t have faith in myself to go it alone and I was not willing to ask anyone to put themselves in danger. After watching you explain, walk through the basics, bring attention to problems that we may face along with very clever problem solving to press on … well, hey, that baby going up this year!!! Thank you for helping me and so many others. The video process is as hard as the construction itself! You paid a price to bless many, and personally, I can’t thank you enough. You are a true blessing ♥️ and amazingly gifted in taking an overwhelming project and transforming it into something simple & do-able.

Be glad it's not a Vida XL shed.Their directions are terrible. And they don't label stuff as they are supposed to.Also there are forklift holes through the 800.00 shed they sent. And if you contact them ,they they tell you to go watch videos that don't exist on the internet. So in the future I'll be buying the brand this guy bought.I'm so grateful for you filming this.

Your video has helped me a lot. I’m nervous about building the shed because I’m building it by myself. I was wondering how to do the roof because the instruction showed do one side and then the other and I’m wondering how the heck do you get up there? The way you did it is your, doing both sides at the same time and working your way out. That’s important and that’s a lot easier. You could stand on a ladder and do that at the peak. Only difference in me and you is I’m a 61-year-old woman gonna do this by myself. I’m used to building a lot of furniture so this is gonna be like building every piece of furniture I’ve ever built at one time I think.😅

Did mine by myself in 2 hours.. never did one before.... but I did stay at a holiday in last night.. Had to edit this... I said 2 hours.. that's funny... took 2 days.. my bad... what really slowed me was that it rained and the roof panels were numbed with friggn ink that all washed off in the rain... I mean EVERY ONE of the panels have NO numbers on them... so had to lay them out in the grass so I could see any difference.. and did.. thanks again for this video... these sheds are great ... I am replacing a 10x13 with a 10x12... the 10x13 had been standing over 20 years.. only thing was it rusted and the doors fell apart .. other then that.. it was still standing...lol the paint was holding it together i think...

I don't usually worry about this kind of thing much where where I live...But the screws that fasten the latches to the doors, I feel like I will change those screws and use some of them one way screws that you need to have a special key to even put them in, cause I agree...if you're gonna put bikes or valuables in there...someone could just unscrew the latches out and you padlock would come right out.

As a builder I gotta say I was pretty upset having to buy one of these. But since I have a shoulder injury stick built is near impossible. I followed the directions to a Tee. Fricken ribs were off by almost 2" overlap on the the last wall panel on both sides and back wall. Needless to say but today was a wasted day with assembly & disassembly a few times.

I'm building this now. Take my advice...if you have any carpentry skills at all, just build a shed of wood. Use this as an excuse to get a compressor and nail gun. You can literally knock it together in half a day and the roof the next. Doing it out of this kit is stupid complex and filled with opportunity to get something backwards, or swapped, causing you to disassemble and reassemble it. Never mind the lack of markings on many of the parts, leaving you to guess what they are, and bad quality cuts and poor quality bolts and nuts. I aslo have no confidence this shed will survive and strong thunderstorm with accompanying winds. Guess I'll find out and if not, toss it and build it of wood.

@@chriscraft2 I’m a retired Building Contractor living in South Fla. You know winds here can get ugly even when it’s not a Hurricane. I know what it takes to anchor a small building, heck, I even reenforced the inside with stud framing and anchored the bottom platform sill to the concrete slab, built trusses with cross member for stability during high winds and even placed metal straps on all four walls for a strong and stable structure. Then, last year’s last strong winds, destroyed it!!😫 I went ahead and pulled permit to build an out house/ storage shed out of cinder block, rebar, and solid concrete corners and tie beams!! No more fooling around!!
