What size Purpleheart strips did you settle on. The project really turned out great. What dimensions did you use on the MDF

I don’t remember the exact number, it was less then the width of the squares and wider then 1 in so I think about 1.5 inches. The mdf was about 2 inches from the edge which would have made that about 16 inches. Sorry I don’t have exact dimensions for you!
