Dorie's penchant for vetting and interviewing top experts to glean their secrets/their wisdom is unmatched! Loved the man's leveraging answering questions on Quora, to avoid expending valuable energy 1 to 1--on topics on which typically MANY folks would be interested. And ultimately the reminder that it's not enough to state our idea; we have to STAND OUT. And I highly recommend Dorie's book under that title!

Dorie Clark is brilliant. Every time I read something or watch something she has done I walk away RICH with knowledge. She has interviewed over 50 top experts and how they got there, How do you Stand Out? Do you Stand Out? Are your Ideas Good? Have you gotten an honest opinion about idea? Do you approach people with Value? Do people one to one see your value? A 10% tweak of an idea can be the difference between something that succeeds and something the market place does not appreciate. One to one. One to many. Many to many. Watch this and learn how to leverage your time. Ideas on how to reach more people than one at a time. She shares what she has learned and ALWAYS teaches me something to better myself. Again thanks Dorie! Reply ·

Steven Billing My friend Suzanne O'Brien suggested I watch this clip. I found myself AGAIN putting Dories suggestion to work in my life. Two recommendations: Pick up the book Stand Out and watch her clips under Resources at dorieclark.com She is a true leader and teacher.

Kudos Dorie: you're right, the question isn't how to get our message out there, it's how to stand out and get noticed by all the right people ... for all the right reasons. Excellent!
