There are about 3 ways to go on the intake manifold, Put the original Intake manifold on with Felpro Gasket like you did, or put the original intake manifold on with a Motorcraft Gasket, or Go with a new Dorman Intake Manifold, perhaps with their replacement runner motor. There is an ATP intake manifold. Could you weigh in on when to replace the Intake Manifold. The brass inserts for the coil packs on original will twist sometimes. I am starting the timing job on my 04 FX4 with 212K miles which i bought new and have changed the oil every 3k miles. At 180k miles I pulled the oil pan to change the gasket which wasn't leaking, and I found plastic timing chain guide parts and it has run fine with some tapping noise. I just put a dorman intake manifold on a 2002 mercury grand marquis with 120k, it had the factory gasket much like the Felpro you put on, it had blown out on the front. The difference you sandwich a gasket between the parts or you build the gasket into the part? Don't like the coil pack screws on the dorman but they work if use a torque wrench and are gentle. Also I cleaned the fuel injectors with the AlloSun digital injector cleaner with Macs carb cleaner and a rigged upped spray tube to put on the injector and spray can, don't soak the entire injector in cleaner I think I ruined one when I did it, had to get a new one.

I’m trying replace those really hard to get to coolant gaskets underneath the intake. And I can’t finish ANY videos of how to remove the intake for this on 5.4 3v!! Can you make a video for this??
