Very nice. Following Paul's Hardware video with like build (my 14 year-old son is paying and building the system, with my help). With ASUS's issues lately, have you encountered any problems with the MoBo or video card? I like the idea of the bottom fans and may look to install at a later time. You say the case comes with a GPU bracket. How does it look in the case? Cheers!

Thanks. So far, I havent encountered any issues with the Asus mobo, but from what I understand, the recent problems are from the combination of Asus mobo/AMD x3d cpus along with overclocking and specific bios. The gpu bracket is pretty neat and not too obvious looking, it is attached through the motherboard using mobo screws/standoffs. It can hold a big strix gpu without any problem.

@@prime1964 Sorry to continue to ask questions. This one involves the video card/connector: Any issues thus far with the connector melting? I have a different PSU, but want to ask if you are experiencing any of the plug issues that seem to be cropping up. Again, I thank you for your posting and responses. Want to get started on my son's build soon.

@@garymbushsr.7723 i didnt use the cable that came with the psu nor the adapter that came with the gpu, i used a cable mod cable that connects directly to the gpu and psu. Just have to make sure you push it in all the way to ensure a good connection. Since this video was posted, im now using cable mod’s 90 deg adapter for a cleaner look. No issues so far.

Awesome video and awesome build but I didn't see a GPU support bracket of any kind to alleviate GPU sag from that massive 4090 :)

Thanks. Both the GPU and the case came with GPU supports. I cant use the GPU bracket because of the bottom fans. I did mount the case one though after I posted this video.

@@prime1964 question about placement of that case GPU support bracket. Did you place it to the far right case stand-off holes, or to more middle stand-off holes? I have the same case, same MoBo and want to make sure we mount in the correct place. Instructions with case show mounting to more middle stand-offs, which doesn't make too much sense. Cheers and thanks for the reply. Still waiting on GPU to arrive, so we can see what it's GPU bracket looks like, as well.

5.7/10 ⭐ 1. Front Bottom 120mm fan looks terrible in that position.. Being cut in half by the bottom right fan. 2. Push/pull air configuration is kinder dumb.. Why bring in hot air from radiator? 3. Rear fan should've been 140mm. 4. Why not get a fan hub with RGB ports? 5. Mixing visible branding spoils the aesthetic.. deep cool branded aio pump, asus eye on motherhood, lian li fans and case... At least the MSI psu isn't visible.. 6. Should've used the black stock psu cables... Those don't make sense.. 7. Why get an SSD with a heatsink when u know you won't need it?? I don't know man, I'll have to rate this build a 4.6/10 ⭐ actually!

1. I agree, but that’s how the case was designed. It’ll even look weirder if I remove the front bottom fan. 2. I’ve tested all possible fan configurations in this case. The push/pull configuration as front intake gave me the best temps. So, it's not really dumb. 3. I agree. At the time of making this PC/video, only the 3 pack 140 Lian Li Infinity fans was available to buy. 4. I went with the L connect controller from Lian Li so i can use their Fan/RGB software. 5. If 1 brand has all the good components that I want, then i would surely do that. I don’t want to sacrifice performance just to show a single brand. 6. The PSU stock cables were too short and rigid, it would have been a pain to cable manage. Also, I wanted the black and blue theme. So, it makes sense to me. 7. The SSD I used does’t have a heatsink.
