You lost the majority of the angle iron (rigidity/ strength/ ability to resist warping) by laying it flat vs. turning the V upside down and welding both legs of the angle iron to the plate. Other than that, it's not bad. Eventually, heat will twist the table enough that, no longer will you be able to lay a large piece perfectly flat. It may only be 1-2° across the entire plain, but that's enough to destroy your project.

What’s better for the table? Top cold rolled, steel or hot rolled steel.

Cold rolled is a more durable steel over all but definitely more expensive. This welding table it hot rolled and has held up great.

I have the 10" evo sliding miter saw and that's all I run in it is Diablo steel demon. The evo blades are junk imo, I've tried the orange (multi material), multiple blue (carbon steel), black (stainless) all three failed prematurely. I've also tried Oshlun from Amazon, they're a little better but Diablo is hands down the best.

I want to build one but not before I can be sure I have the methods to make it somewhat flat! I don't how you did anything other than replicate the concrete contractors work into your table?

@@AviewFromUnder if you cut all of the legs the exact same length it will turn out flat. That’s what we did here and it turned out great.
